A little history...
Your ‘host’
started as a nude model himself. ~ Still is in fact.. ~ But after 6 years of paying attention at the various art classes he was ‘attending’ he tried the other side of the easel. To his surprise he did fairly
well... And he liked it too.
Two years later an opportunity came along to run a drawing session himself. ~ A weekly group he had been a part of at a local college ended when the person running it stopped
doing so. ~ Since no one really wanted it to end, his home was offered for it to continue. That was in January of 2008., and it is still going on.
Soon a second weekly session from another college was taken
on for the summer. ~ Along with starting to assist still other venues in obtaining figure drawing models, it became a job in itself. ~ Unfortunately most other model sources were found to be too far flung to do much
good locally. ~ In addition they’re mostly populated by commercially oriented photography models who do little nude work. ~
So this site came to be. ~ Its only purpose is to connect individuals who are OK with nudity with the artists and photographers who want to work with nudes.
We have since become very involved in photography and hold photo shoots as well as art sessions.
